While technically a senior citizen, no one would use those words to describe the owner of this Pied a Terre. A single female, she wanted a space with femininity but also an edge that spoke of her ties to New Orleans.

This one bedroom apartment mixes dark opulence with floral and feathers. The color palette combines several nutural shades -- black, grays, creams & natural wood tones -- with red shades for an unexpected pop. Texture, from the feature stone wall to the various textiles throughout, adds a depth and tactile quality while bold prints and art keep the eye moving throughout the space. The combination is at once classic and completely contemporary reflecting the owner well.
